GREENE TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Motorists traveling on Roemerville Road (Route 3002) in Pike County should expect delays beginning Monday as paving work gets underway.
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced that lane restrictions will be in place on Roemerville Road between Hemlock Road and Route 390 in Greene Township from Monday, June 8, through early July 2026.
Work will take place weekdays from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Drivers are advised to allow extra travel time, use alternate routes when possible and proceed cautiously through the work zone.
PennDOT said the restrictions are necessary to accommodate paving operations.
Motorists can check traffic conditions and travel information through Pennsylvania’s 511PA system, which provides updates on traffic delays, weather conditions, roadway speeds and live traffic camera feeds. The service is available online, through the 511PA mobile app and by dialing 511.
Additional information on planned and active PennDOT construction projects is available through the agency’s website.
