The Pike County Career Center is hosting a summer job fair aimed at connecting job seekers with employment opportunities across the region.
The “Heat of Summer Job Fair” will take place Thursday, Aug. 13, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Wallenpaupack Area High School, 2552 U.S.-6 in Hawley, Pennsylvania.
The event will feature more than 30 employers from Wayne and Pike counties representing a range of industries, including education, healthcare, hospitality, law enforcement and corrections, and sales.
“The Heat of Summer Job Fair brings together a range of regional employers, making it easier and less stressful for jobseekers to connect with companies close to home,” said Cindy DeFebo, director of the Pike County Career Center.
Admission is free for both employers and job seekers.
Employers interested in participating are encouraged to register early, as space is limited. Tables, chairs, and lunch will be provided for participating employers.
There is no registration fee, but the Career Center is asking participating employers to contribute to its mini food pantry. The pantry supports unemployed and underemployed individuals who use Career Center services.
More information and the employer registration form are available through the Pike County Career Center’s website at www.pikepa.org/careercenter.
