Narrowsburg, NY – Sullivan County nonprofit arts and community organizations can now apply for grants of up to $2,500 to support cultural and heritage programming this year, the Delaware Valley Arts Alliance announced.
The 2026 Sullivan County Arts & Heritage Grants program (SCAHG) and funded by the Sullivan County Legislature, supports projects in visual, performing, literary, media and folk arts, as well as culture, architecture, regional history and environmental arts. Eligible projects must be completed by Dec. 31.
Eligible applicants include literary groups, libraries, theaters, music ensembles, historical societies, museums, community development organizations and environmental groups, among others. Grant requests range from a minimum of $500 to a maximum of $2,500.
The application portal is open and the deadline is midnight Friday, April 3. Applications are submitted online through the DVAA website.
Info Sessions Required for New Applicants
First-time applicants are required to attend one of three upcoming grant information seminars. Sessions will cover project conceptualization, grant writing tips and contractual obligations for grantees.

Two Scholarships Available for Graduating Seniors
DVAA is also accepting applications for two $500 scholarships open to graduating high school seniors in the region.
The Dr. Barry & Jane Bodenstein Music Scholarship awards $500 to a high school senior in the Sullivan West School District who demonstrates high aptitude in music. Applicants are not required to plan formal music study at the college level.
The Stanley J. Segal Scholarship for Visual Art provides $500 to a graduating senior in Sullivan County, N.Y., or Wayne County, Pa., who plans to pursue advanced study in the visual arts.
