The New York State Department of Labor will host a Veteran and Community Career Fair Thursday, Oct. 22, in Walton, offering job seekers an opportunity to connect with employers from across the region.
The fair is scheduled from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Castle on the Delaware, 139 Stockton Ave.
According to the event flyer, participating employers will include Delaware County, New York State Police, SUNY Delhi, Belleayre Mountain and the Olympic Regional Development Authority, UHS Delaware Valley Hospital, Price Chopper/Market32, and The Arc of Delaware County, among others.
Positions listed by participating employers include teacher aide, security officer, nursing assistant, electrician, physical therapist, machine operator, medical secretary and quality manager. Additional openings are also available.

Attendees are asked to bring several copies of their resumes and wear professional attire.
