The Wayne County Community Foundation has selected Dr. David and Kay Reynolds as recipients of its highest honor, the 2026 Ben Franklin Community Service Award.
The award, named for founding father Benjamin Franklin, recognizes community service. It includes a $2,000 grant from the Foundation’s Ben Franklin Fund, which will be given to a charity selected by the Reynolds.
The Wayne County Community Foundation will honor David and Kay Reynolds on Wednesday, Sept. 9, at Woodloch Pines Resort.
The event will also feature the inaugural Philanthropy in Action Award, which will be presented to the William E. Chatlos Foundation. Ralph Serpe of the Adams County Community Foundation will deliver the keynote address.
