MILFORD, PA — The Pike County Area Agency on Aging will celebrate the grand opening of its newest facility, the Bushkill Senior Activity Center, on Tuesday, April 7, at 11 a.m. at 216 Lehman Park Road in Bushkill.
The new center consolidates the former Saw Creek and Pocono Mountain Lake Estates centers into a single location to streamline services and better serve the community.
The celebration will include a lunch at 11:30 a.m., entertainment, and social activities. Lunch costs $5 per person, and reservations are required. Those interested can reserve a spot by calling 570-775-5550.
The Bushkill Senior Activity Center will operate Mondays and Tuesdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., offering congregate meals, themed luncheons, and a variety of activities including exercise classes, Tai Chi, and ukulele lessons.
Robin Soares, director of the Area Agency on Aging, said the center reflects the agency’s ongoing commitment to providing resources that support independence and well-being for older residents.
